CaterFix Celebrates Its 21st Anniversary!

CaterFix is a Peterborough based company specialising in servicing, repairing and selling new and reconditioned commercial catering equipment. First founded by David Iacono in 2000, in 2017 former Foster UK Sales Manager Ajaz Akhtar took over, moving locations to Padholme Road East. Since then the company has experienced good growth and expansion, looking after over 400 customers across Cambridgeshire and the South East of the country

Last Friday CaterFix celebrated it’s 21^st anniversary at The Bull Hotel Peterborough. The evening was filled with live music, a three-course meal, company quizzes with lots of prizes and presentation! Local Guests from: Peterborough United, Banyan Tree, Brewery Tap, Charters Bar, Moor Farm and many others joined us in celebrating this landmark date.

Over the past 21 years CaterFix has flourished into a thriving local business that takes great pride in providing its customers with a superb, fast and friendly service. CaterFix’ 900 square foot warehouse has been organised into a fantastic arrangement of labelled new and reconditioned catering equipment, featuring products from Foster, Hobart, Lincat, Blue Seal, Rational and more – all displayed on our new and updated e-commerce website.

Whilst the company’s services and operations have expanded, CaterFix’ underlying principles have remained the same. Ajaz Akhtar, Managing Director, says: “It’s not the bricks and mortar that makes up a company, but the people you build your team with”. CaterFix’ members talk about how working at CaterFix is “not just a job but like working with your family” with “family values being held so high”. We are looking forward to the next 21 years!
