Mosque’s Masjid Ghousia

One of Peterborough’s most famous Mosque’s Masjid Ghousia on Gladstone Street have recently been installed a 3 deck Mortuary Chamber. The chamber allows the Mosque to hold bodies before burial at the correct temperature. Under Islamic law the bodies need to be preserved and buried as quickly as possible. The Mortuary chamber was manufactured by Foster Refrigerator with the body trays supplied by Omega. Caterfix were asked to project manage the complete job. Head of Mosque Mr Choaudry commented ‘We know Ajaz very well and put our trust in Caterfix to carry out a professional job, they certainly did not let us down and we are very happy with the Mortuary Chamber’  The Mosque will also be building a new kitchen for the children teaching section which Caterfix will manage.
