Nenegate School

CaterFix were asked to help set up a practical working kitchen for Nenegate School, Eastgate Peterborough. The previous school kitchen had not been used for several years so most of the old gas equipment was removed to allow the kitchen to operate just on electric. A new Unox combi oven and Lincat 6 ring electrical oven were installed on single phase supply for all the school’s cooking requirements. A new dishwasher from Maidaid was installed instead of the old sterilizing sink . For chilled storage, the Foster FSL800H double door slimline chiller replaced 2 domestic white chillers and new Tefcold chest freezer for frozen storage. Additional work surface space and shelving racks were also installed. The kitchen was then given a deep clean by the CaterFix team and all the existing catering equipment was serviced. Finally, the canopy was given a deep clean and all was handed over to the school catering team on Monday September 2^nd for the start of the school term. Great work from the CaterFix team, once again showing that we are the one stop company for all the Schools’ commercial catering equipment needs.
